Pay Items

Configurations of pay items is very important before creating payslips and be able to apply a pay item for all or particular position of  employees.  Pay items are both of allowances and deductions such as bonus, over time, provident fund, expenses allowances and etc.  Per pay items can be configured a relevant account to allow the system auto record account transactions in general ledger when making pay slips.

How to configure  pay  items

• Go to menu : HR → Settings >> Pay Items  → New Pay Item

• Pay Items configurations        

• Name :  Name of pay item
• Description : Description of pay item
• Pay Item Type :  There are 5 types of pay item

• Wages : Salary or income items
• Allowances
• Deductions
• Tax : Income tax for tax payer
• Employer Contributions : Social security fund and provident fund

When select pay item type, wage type will be available to select

• Wage Type:  There are 5 types of wage

• Salary: Fixed wage or salary

• Overtime

• Times: System allow to enter overtime hours to pay

• Bonus

• Number Of Month :  System allows to enter number of months of bonus to pay

• Commission

• Position Allowance

• Allowance Type :

• Support

• Travel Allowance

• Travel Expenses

• Deduction Type :

• Thai Social Security Fund :

• Provident Fund :

• Loan :

• Leave Without Paid :

• Tax  Type :

• Thai Personal Income Tax :

• Contrib Type :

• Thai Social Security Fund Accum :

• Provident Fund Accum :

• Account : Select a relevant account to the pay item from chart of account.

• Account Type :  To fix the selected account should be on debit or credit side.

• Show as default for all employees  : Select this option, if this pay item applies to every employees.

• Include Tax  : Select this option, if this pay item is included in tax base of tax income.
• Include SSO : Select this option, if this pay item is included in income to compute security fund level.
• Include PND1  :  Select this option, if this pay item is included in tax base of tax income and presented on PND.1 tax income report.
• Fix Income : This pay item is regular wage or salary
• Save : Click save after completion
