Service Contract Templates

Service contracts are preventive maintenance agreements consisting of a sequence of pre-planned maintenance visits which are invoiced on a yearly basis or regular intervals and covering labor, parts, or other costs for the planned visits. Contracts can cover one or more years of operation and the visit sequence and type of visits depending on the running counter of the equipment.

The content of the pre-planned visits are configured in the service order templates.

In the service contract template, the sequence and pre-planned visit types ( service order template ) are entered.

• Go to Menu >> Services >> Settings >> Service Contract Templates

• In this particular example the GA 55 required 4 visits for 4000 running hours. This compressor has actually 3 types of visit types

• 1000 hour service
• 2000 hour service
• 4000 hour service

• The content of each service order template ( visit type ) can be seen by clicking on the blue arrow after each contract line.

• The total selling price for all parts, labor and other costs are calculated from the the contract line items.

• Note: For each service item or component the yearly counter has to be installed, and the software will calculate the current running hours to date, based on estimated daily running hours and first visit date and counter readings.
• Note: Prices will automatically update when cost and selling prices are updated in the product module.
