Service Order Templates
- Go to Main Menu >> Service >> Settings >> Service Order Templates

- With service order templates you are able to define the standard content for one planned service intervention. This intervention might require labor,spare parts, transport or other costs which can be pre-configured.
- To create a new service template, click on Create Service Order Template button.

- Enter a service order template name and select the Product. In this case the product is the service item configured in Products. The service type can be selected from the service types configured in service settings. In the worksheet you select the type of line item.
- Line items can be: Labor, Parts and Other (Other cost items such as transport cost which can be added as a standard cost item in the service template).
- Labor and other cost items need to be configured in the Product Module.

- For each a selling price and a cost price need to be configured


- Configuring the cost and selling prices for service items is important since these figures are used for invoicing and calculating standard cost of service order templates
- Please note that prices will automatically update when cost and selling prices are updated in the product module
- In this example we have configured a service order template for 2000 Hour service one one compressor GA55

- The service type selected is preventive maintenance and the required skill level name is preventive maintenance. When this job needs to be conducted, a service engineer with the required skill level will be selected as a default
- Note: This specific service order template is for one compressor GA 55 with a serial number between xxxx to XXXX since required spare parts could be different for the same model with different serial number
- With the Option button you can easily duplicate the service order and edit some existing fields to speed up the creation of service order templates
