Resources
Before start making Service Order, we need to enter technician or resources first as a master data in Resources Menu shown below.
- Go to Main Menu >> Services >> Planning >> Resources
- Click on New Resource to create staff.

- In the resource page you need to enter some fields as follows.

- Resource Name : A name of staff or machine.
- Resource Type :
- Employee : This can be link to the existing employee created earlier.
- User : In case this staff has a user to login into the system.
- Skill Level : We can mention a skill level for each staff which can be created earlier from
Settings >> Skill Levels.
- Product Category : To mention Product Category this staff can take care.
- Regions : To mention which Region this staff can perform the task.
- Note: Since in Service Order, there will be a warning when allocate staff who is not completely matched with a skill, Product and Region required in that job, we may need to mention those fields in each resource.
