Service Items
The term Service items is used to define the equipment or installed machine base.Service items are created under the contact and for one service item also components can be created. This is done for example to record electric motor, engines, or other main component of the basic equipment carrying a serial number, special warranty conditions , or specific maintenance requirements.
- Go to Main Menu >> Services >> Services >> Service Items

- In the above example some main service items are listed and also some components. Clicking on one main service item will open a screen with its components or click New Service Item for create new service item. Show picture below;


- In the above screen all the main information of the service Item is recorded, while on the attachment displayed in Components the secondary service item is recorded. The components can be clicked and the details will be shown.
- Number : Service Item sequence which can be configured in a General module.
- Name : Service Item name.
- Product : Product related to this service item.
- Serial No. : Serial number of this service item.
- Parent : In case this is a component, we can select its parent and it will be moved under the parent selected.
- Customer : Customer related to this service item.
- Project : Can select project which this service item is used.
- Description : Service items details.
- Priority : Priority of this service item in case of an issue raised.
- Sales Unit Cost : Cost price.
- Sales Unit Price : Selling price (in this case, it is zero because we launch a CSR campaign).
- Sales Date : Item Selling Date.
- Arrival Date : In case we ship from abroad, we can mention an arrival date for this service item.
- Arrival Inspection Date : The actual Date this service item arrived.
- Location of Service Item : Location where we install this service item.
- Commissioning Date : The Date we install this service item in customer site.
- Warranty Exp. Date : Warranty expiration date.
- Last Counter : In case of some service items, there will be a counter mentioned for a maintenance task. After checking we can put the value in this field.
- Last Counter Date : Date we record a last counter.
- Estimated Counter Per Year : The estimated counter in one year.
- Estimated Current Counter : System will automatically calculate the estimated counter at the current date.
- Industry : Industry type for service item .
- Application : Application type for service item.
- Notes : Some more information about this service item.
- Status : Service item’s status.
- When service items or components are created under a specific customer, all relevant information on arrival inspection, warranty expiring and others will be created.
- Important: For each service item or component the yearly counter has to be installed, and the software will calculate the current running hours to date, based on estimated daily running hours and first visit date and counter readings.
- After entering this information the estimated current reading will be calculated and displayed.

- Note: Please carefully allocate the equipment or components to the right customer since quotations, sales orders, and invoicing will be created from here.
