Sale Forecast
Sales Forecasting is the process of estimating what your business’s sales are going to be in the future. Accurate sales forecasts enable companies to make informed business decisions and predict short-term and long-term performance.A sales forecast period can be monthly, quarterly, half-annually, or annually.
To define the sale forecast, go to Sales > Sale Forecast and Click New Sale Forecast

- Input details the sales forecast form
- Number : The number of the sale forecast
- Customer : Select a customer ( if not specified the customer each sale forecast, You can blank)
- From Date/To Date : The Start date and The end date of sale forecast
- Planned Sale Qty : Quantity of product of sale forecast
- UoM : Units of Measure of product
- From Warehouse : The location from which products are outgoing from
- Priority : Select the priority , there are as follows
- Description : Input text to description of sale forecast
- Click Save to add the data

- After Save , Update the sale forecast by clicking Options > Update Planned Stock

- After Updated the stock , system will appear the quantity in the location , Following :
- Actual Sale Qty : The actual quantity of product of sale order
- Planned Remain Qty : The Actual quantity of the product in location
- In case the remain quantity of the product are negative , You can order the product by production or purchase
- Planned Issue Qty : The quantity of the product to plan to outgoing

- If you scroll down the form, System will appear a transaction after updated stock in the stock movements

- Also, you can view the report sale forecast by clicking the Main Menu > Inventory > Report > Stock Forecast, Then enter the data to filter and click Run Report


- The report will display data entered by the user.

Receive the product in the period
After receive the product in the period of the sale forecast , System will update the sale forecast and report are as follows
- Completed the Goods Receipt or Production Order

- The Sale Forecast and report, Following ;


Sale Order the product in the period
After Sale order status has changed to confirmed, System will update the sale forecast as follows
- Sale order has status to confirm
