Stock Periods

Since the Netforce inventory system follows the periodic method, regular stock periods need to be configured. This is normally done at the end of each month. Stock periods should not be considered as stock counts. All stock transactions in one stock period are then transferred to the general ledger by selecting the manu  Inventory > Stock Periods and Click New Stock Period

• Enter the period (Date From/Date To) Click Save and Then Post

• Also, You can check the journal entry by clicking Options > View Journal Entry

• The journal created by posting the stock period will contain the result of all transactions and update the general with one journal entry which looks as follows:
