PRODUCT MODULE
Main Menu > Products
The product module allows you to record all your products and relevant data in a very comprehensive product database. For each product description, pricing, inventory, and accounting information can be configured. You can also upload images of the products. The product inventory costing methods can be configured for each product. The weighted average, standard cost, FIFO and LIFO costing methods are supported.
Main Menu > Products > Dashboard
On the left side you have a listing of the total amount of products by category, The products by product category is shown in the pie chart below.
On the right side you have a listing of recent products added in the system. Also you can add the product by click “Add Product” button
Main Menu > Products > Products
A Product can be defined as a service type, stockable item, consumption item, master product or bundle. The procurement method for manufacturing products should be defined as make-to-order or make-to-stock. The supply method is either purchase or production in case products are to be manufactured. Pricing, sales, purchasing, inventory dimensions are to be configured.
To enter product select Products in the Main Menu > Products > Products > Products
Entering a new product can be done by clicking the Products menu in the product menu bar New Product button.
Entering a new product can also be done directly from the Dashboard Menu.
Main Menu > Products > Reports
The reports menu displays a report on the product because the user needs to analyze the resulting data into the desired information ex. analyze by product category or product type which can choose to view type the report in either Lists or Charts.
Main Menu > Products > Settings
Settings related to product information. This can be done by going to the Main menu and then going to the Settings menu, which consists of sub-menus to set the following settings:
PRODUCT CATEGORIES Product categories can be defined for every product. These product categories are used to configure accounting dimensions, pricing and other relevant information. PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES To know what the product is made from or what are the features? Can specify the attributes of your products. PRICELIST ITEM Pricelist items are the items configured in price lists. BRAND GROUP To define a group of brands. | PRODUCT GROUP Products can be grouped to classify products such as shirts, pants, drinks, etc. Define product groups can be used to organize promotional items. PRICELIST The system allows the creation of different pricelists which can be associated with contacts, discount levels, FOB, CIF or other delivery settings. BRAND Brand information can be used in search criteria for products, sales and inventories. |
