IMPORT CONTACTS

Main Menu > Contacts > Contacts > Contacts


Before importing Contacts, you have to import Contact. Contact in Netforce represents organization (company), and contact is a subject which can be associated with the contact (person). Each contact can be connected to more than one contact. Partners can be classified by Contact Categories. There are few categories already defined in your database, if you need to define your own categories, you can add them manually (Add Contact Category button) or you can import the list of categories from the CSV file (Import button).

Click on the Import button to import categories from the CSV file. Choose the file then click Import.

The CSV file with categories should be formatted as shown in the picture below. You can download the following CSV file from here.

After you are done with configuration of categories, you can proceed with importing Contact (Customers or Suppliers), then select Contacts from the navigation bar.

To import a list of contacts from a CSV file click on the Import button, choose the file from file system and click Import again.

The CSV file with a list of contacts should be formatted as shown in the picture below. You can download the following CSV file from here.

Click on the Import button to import contacts from the CSV file. Choose the file from the file system and click Import.

System will appear with the message “Data imported successfully” after you complete the import.

When you are finished with importing partners and contacts you can proceed to Step 4: Import Products
