CONTACTS MODULE
Main Menu > Contacts
Contacts module is a place where you keep all the data related to supplier and customer. When you go to this module, you will see a Dashboard as the first page.

On the left side of the dashboard you will see the different contacts by contact category. Hovering your mouse on the contact category will show the number of contacts within that category. On the right side the most recent contacts created are listed.
Netforce is managing contacts in a very flexible way. The following dimensions can be configured - See also Contact Settings
CONTACT CATEGORIES
Contact categories can be used to define different discount structures for specific categories.
Example: You can define a 30% discount for the contact category " Dealers " , a 20% discount for " Key Account Customers" and so on.
CONTACT TYPES Contact types define the identity of the contact which can be either a company (customer and/or supplier) or an individual. | RELATION TYPES The relation feature allows you to define the relationships of companies and contact persons to one or more companies. |

Main Menu > Contacts > Contacts
Three contact types have been defined as Customers, Suppliers and Employees.
On each contact type, there are 2 subtypes including Individuals and Organizations.
individuals are defined as contact persons within one or more organizations, or persons not belonging to any organization at all.
With the Relations feature an individual or company can be attributed to one or multiple organizations or individuals. Being able to define relations provides a very flexible way to identify contacts and their respective business or individual connections. This makes it possible to enter contact persons working and having relations with multiple organizations.
CONTACTS The contacts sub menu to list all the information of customers and suppliers. Can create a customer or supplier in this menu. SUPPLIERS The supplier sub menu to list only suppliers. Flexibility can create suppliers directly at this menu. | CUSTOMER The customer sub menu to list only customers. Flexibility can create customers directly at this menu. EMPLOYEES The Employees sub menu can be added under the contact module. To support the Account package (without HR Payroll add-on module) for Advance request and Expense Claim document of employees. |
To enter contacts select Contacts in the Main Menu > Contacts
Select Contacts in the Contact Menu and you will be able to access all your contacts
Selecting a specific tab for Customers, Suppliers or Archived will display contacts related to this contact type. Selecting the All type will display all contacts including Individuals.
Entering new contacts can be done by clicking the Contacts menu in the contact menu bar New Contact button.
Entering new contacts can also be done directly from the Contact Dashboard
Main Menu > Contacts > Reports
The reports menu displays a report on the contact because the user needs to analyze the resulting data into the desired information. which can choose to view type the report in either Lists or Charts.
SETTINGS
Main Menu > Contacts > Settings
Settings related to contact information. This can be done by going to the Main menu and then going to the Settings menu, which consists of sub-menus to set the following settings:
CONTACT CATEGORIES Contact Categories can be configured so that they can be used in reports and pricing settings. CONTACT RELATIONS Contact Relations to define the relationship between contacts. RELATION TYPES. Relation Types or contact information can be configured. Contact persons can be allocated to multiple customers or suppliers. INDUSTRIES. Industries can be configured industry to contacts that can be used to analyze information or report. FLEET SIZES Fleet Sizes can be configured fleet size to contacts that can be used to analyze information or report. | CONTACT GROUP Contact Groups to set up a customer price group. PAYMENT TERMS Payment Terms: to set payment terms for both the supplier and the customer. REGIONS. Regions can be configured regions to contacts that can be used to analysis information or report
Business Areas can be configured business area to contacts that can be used to analyze information or report. |
